I hold an “Intro to Relief Printmaking Workshop” at the beautiful A Sense Of Place Fine Art Gallery in Fresno periodically.

(NOTE: Previously scheduled Workshops at Red Tail Studios in Oakhurst, CA have been postponed due to storm damage and ongoing repairs into 2024.)

I keep the class size smallish, so lots of individual attention is available for both returners and newbies. Everything but your own unique creativity is provided for a fun, informative and enriching experience.

Though I encourage learning to hand-burnish, I bring my Blick etching press and my mini-press, too!

What is coverered: Design strategies, carving basics and techniques, single color, multi-block color and reduction-method color printing as time and student progress allows.
